"Bardon Park Chapel"
The United Reformed Church in Coalville and North West Leicestershire is based at the Bardon Park Chapel. The Church hosts the Bardon Park Chapel Christian Fellowship and the Church and Fellowship operate in partnership.
The URC members are fully part of the life and leadership of the Fellowship.
The United Reformed Church is part of the World Communion of Reformed Churches (
www.wcrc.ch), which brings together 80 million Reformed Christians in 108 countries.
The United Reformed Church came into being in 1972 as a union in England & Wales of Congregational and Presbyterian churches. A number of "Churches of Christ (Disciples)" have subsequently joined, and also a number of Scottish Congregational churches. The Church works co-operatively with other churches, and is strongly committed to promoting unity among Christians.
